Every day position at Miller's Downtown guarantees a minimum of $20/hour, calculated as your base hourly wage plus tips averaged across the workweek, consistent with federal and Virginia wage law. If your tips don't bring you to $20/hour for the week, we pay the difference. You keep every dollar you earn above that.

Hourly wage plus tips. This is one of the highest-volume bars on the Downtown Mall with exceptional tip potential.

About the Role

We're looking for experienced bartenders who can handle a packed house, craft great drinks quickly, and keep their cool during live music shows. Speed, accuracy, and personality matter here.

Miller's Downtown is located on the Historic Downtown Mall in Charlottesville, Virginia. Miller's has been serving Charlottesville great food and cold drinks for over 40 years. We host 7 nights of live music and have a rich history of musicians that have played on our stage. Miller's also features the largest outdoor cafe on the DTM and our 3rd floor has the only Sports, Cigar and Billiards place in Charlottesville.
